So, it's the beginning of a new semester at the good ol' university and so far, it's going amazingly good. I had my first class (Human Growth: Christian Spirituality) this morning at 9 o'clock which means I had to get up at 7:30 in order to take the bus to get to class on time (gross). I am NOT a morning person, so I'm pretty much dying right now, and it's only 12:40. Fortunately, that class seems really interesting and it won't be hard to go because I'm not going to want to miss it. It would be really bad if it was a class I didn't want to take, like statistics, for example ;). My student loan has YET to come in (there are some school officials that are about ready to kill me right now) because of some last minute information they gave me about papers that had to be signed and a payment to be made. The last call they made to me pushed me to my breaking point. They told me it would be another couple of weeks before it came in, and that I needed to send them ANOTHER form and make an interest payment. I just started crying. I have dealt with way too much from them. They need to start getting on the ball with all this info stuff and telling us what we need to do in the beginning of the semester. Anyway, enough of my ranting. I swear, I'm gonna turn out like one of those crazy old ladies you see on the city bus ranting to herself about the "insolence of the young people these days" while stroking one of the cats that is still stuck in her hair, lol. So yeah, I got my tattoo, but I didn't get it in Halifax like I thought I was going to. I got it here in town at "Pins and Needles", a tattoo/piercing place downtown. We were going to get it done in Halifax but when we met the girl that was going to do it, she had the nastiest attitude and treated us as if we were unimportant and a nuisance. So we decided against her and went some place with a better staff. So, it's all done, and it's healing now, which means at the moment, it's extremely itchy. It looks really good though, and that's all that matters. Christmas went really well. I mean, of course, like any in-law family get-together, there were problems, ones that could've easily been avoided, but of course no one knew they were going to be problems until too late. But I got some really awesome presents that I needed and we had a pretty relaxing Christmas day. It was really nice to see my best friend Natalie again. She came home for a little less than a week over the holidays, and I hadn't seen her in 6 months, so I really missed her. It's funny, even though she's in Ontario, she's always there for me. So, all in all, it was a pretty good vacation, but I'm glad to be back in school, and I'm really glad to be back home so I can get ready and mentally prepared for the next vacation, lol. Ciao!
