A long awaited update

Hey again,

Well that didnt go as well as planned, haha. I ended up going over to Japan at the end of last year for 4 weeks and got a real reminder of

1. How little i knew
2. Kanji is damn important
3. How rewarding it was to know just a little
4. How much more rewarding it would have been if i had actually sat down and studied, and gotten to a good level of Japanese.

It was the kick in the pants that i needed. This blog was definitely forgotten, but in order to keep my study up, i can really go to Japan every few months, so i thought i'd get back on here and try and keep the grove ive got at the moment.

I picked up a few books over there, which have been really good and found Anki, a memory tool, on the internet to help with learning the vocab. Actually, i think i'll be using it to help me study in Medicine as well as japanese, its a great program.

I'm going (yes, definately) to sit the JLPT lvl 3 at the end of the year and attempt to sit the JLPT lvl 2 at either the end of next year, or the year after, depending on my progress.
