About my city and Tokyo

There are 47 prefectures in Japan. Roughly a prefecture in Japan is like a state in America(There are 50 states in America). I live in Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture. Chiba Prefecture is next to Tokyo Prefecture. Matsudo City is very near Tokyo.

Population of Matsudo City is about 480 thousand people. And the population of Chiba Prefecture which is about 6 million people is the 6th of 47 Prefectures.

For your information, the population of Tokyo Prefecture which is about 12 million people is the 1st of 47 Prefectures.
Tokyo has everything and is very attractive city! So I often go to Tokyo for shopping or watching movies or cuisine or the date. If you hope to experience the cutting edge, such as fashion, music, electric appliance, anime, game, etc, you should come to Tokyo.
