How often do you wash your pair of jeans?

How often do you wash your pair of jeans? Well, have you ever washed your jeans?

I'm not sure about other countries, but some Japanese people really love old jeans and they NEVER wash it. They say that washing gives a lot of damage to the cloth and makes the color comes off.

On a pole on Yahoo Japan, people left comments about it and judging from those comments, 15% of them wash it each time they wear it, 15% of them wash it once in a week, 30% of them wash it once in 1-3 months, 30% of them wash it when they feel it becomes dirty, 10% of them never wash it.

Wow.
I don't wear jeans, so I never thought about it but maybe I would wash it every 3-4 time I wear it. It takes pretty long to dry the jeans (drying machine is not, so i would not wash it each time I wear it... too lazy? XD

ummm... I wash 'em every two times I wear them, 3-4 is also OK of course. What I couldn't believe is that there are people that never washes them... but without thinking about how do they look, it makes more sense since I read this: http://www.guardian.co.uk/france/story/0,,1795544,00.html

oh wow, that's an interesting article. thank you for the link! now I understand that washing is not good for the Earth, but not washing is not for our body... hmm, which is better? lol by the way, what i was surprised was that they are ironing jeans!! that's very unusual in Japan!
