The downtown of San Diego

On sunday, I went to the USS Midway Museum and Old Town in the downtown of San Diego.

Old Town has reproduced the streetscape of the West in 19th century. We can see a lot of old buildings and household goods at the time.

The USS Midway is the Navy's aircraft carrier sailed till the Gulf War in 1991. Then it has become the museum in 2004.
I was very excited when I saw the actual huge appearance of the ship for the first time. The inside of the ship is very interesting. It has a lot of very slim and complicated passages leading to each rooms. And many types of aircraft and information materials are exhibited.

The ship has almost all facilities for living on the sea for a long time. For example, hospital, surgery room, restaurant, barber shop, etc. And I could see a lot of special equipments like we can never see in our normal life.

I had a memorable day.
