Photo for resume

Have you seen Japanese resume?
It may surprise some of you, but we need to put our photo on a resume. Actually, we need to write our birthday, age and gender too.

I read an interesting article about photo for a resume.
Recently, when senior students at colleges take their photo at a nice photo studio for their resume, a stylist puts makeup on them.

...No, i'm not talking about girls but I'm talking about BOYS!
I believe they are not wearing makeup like girls and I think they are just trying to cover their acnes or dark rings under their eyes. or maybe they wear foundation lightly to make their face look brighter to give better impression to a company. I don't think it's a bad thing to do because I understand their feeling that they want to give better impression, but I still think it's kind of weird...
Does this happen in your country too? Do boys wear makeup when they are taking special photos?

Well, Japanese boys usually don't wear makeup!
However, they do pluck their eyebrows to make it slim, and some of them even draw their eyebrows like girls do. I really don't like it but that's common between young boys.... oh well. There is no reason to stop boys wearing makeup, but hmmmm. you know how i feel.

Maybe it won't be so long before they start wearing makeup every day XD
