I went to the theater and watched the new Zhnag Yimou movie "Curse of the golden flower", I liked it alot. The movie starred Chow yunfat, Gong Li, and Jay Chow. Chow Yunfat and Gong Li were very good in the movie, but Jay Chow is no comparison to the two veteran actors. By the way the Chinese name for this movie is called 滿城盡戴黃金甲, which translates to Palace filled with golden armored, the last fight scene was a sight to behold(it reminds me of the climax scene in Lord of the Rings III), even though it was not too 'realistic'. You should go check it out if you have a chance.

you'd better ask a Chinese local about the movie. may find a different answer..:) anyway glad you like it/

actually havent seen it yet. dont like the changed style of the director since ying1 xiong2 ( the hero) suggest you watch some old ones. they are really impressive and can find pure Authentic chinese culture in them :)
