A nightmare

I had a dream last night

My baby and I was being hunted

Being hunted by an evil devil

Here and there

I ran and ran , and couldn’t stop

Still I had nowhere to escaped

Still I escaped nowhere

From the sky came a butterfly

…..

I cant remember whether my baby was saved

Only tears splashed when I was awake

In the dream , I was trapped, threatened, bruised and battered

But I didn’t feel any pain when I was awake

I suppose, only because I was still in asleep.

The last two lines really hit hard... "But I didn't feel any pain when I was awake I suppose, only because I was still in asleep." That is so profound...to describe one's waking life as "still asleep"......and very sad, too.
