"stary" would be for a man, "stara" for a woman. But I think that the usual way to say your age would be : "Mam 24 lata". Not sure for the "lata" ("lat" ?) I've never understood that rule. And you forgot the "się" : "nazywam się"
My turn :
Dzień dobry !
Nazyvam się Kasia i mam 23 lat.
Miło mi ciebie poznać.
Do zobaczenia !
Ah darn, it's not like we didn't practice się all evening yesterday! :P
Thanks!
Hi girls! Of course it should be "Mam 24 lata" - "Jestem 24 lata stary" sounds rather funny but of course is understandable.
About "lata" there is no rule - just have to learn by heart and remember:
2,3,4 is always "lata"
the rest will be almost always "lat"
11, 27, 21 , 25, 69, lat and so on
but
22 lata
53 lata
...
"Z Kanada" is not enough like "from Canada"
Jestem z Kanady - I'm from Canada
similiar
Ja zamężny - "zamężnY" - no such a word..
"Jestem mężatką" or "Mam męża"
You need to use verb forms! especially "BE"
If You want more feel free to write or call
