Pottery, etc.

Earlier this morning, my brother and I attended a Japanese Pottery Workshop. We had a great time kneading, molding, and making a huge mess out of ourselves. A Japanese potter (i forgot his name, sorry) demonstrated the process of making pots out of clay. Thereafter, every one of us was given a chance to make our own pottery. Kids and adults enjoyed the workshop as what I've seen in their smiles and laughs.

Anyway, I decided to join xlingo because for one, I want to learn new languages aside from English and Filipino. And second, I don't like the feeling whenever I don't understand what people are saying right in front of me.

I also want to travel when i grow old and have a job to sustain myself. So, with knowing how to speak several languages, it would be easier and more fun to communicate.

Alright then, I'll go ahead before this entry gets really long and boring! ^_^"

I had fun using the pottery wheel but i wasn't able to make a "decent" pot. The one i made had a deep hole in the middle like a donut! I wish I had my own pottery wheel to practice with. I want to be a potter but I don't have the equipments. *sigh* We also molded some shapes and I guess, I was more successful doing that. =) How about you, Gugu? Where did you experience making pottery? =) ~suhneigh
