Bit more of an Introduction about me ( and why i started this blog )

Hi,

My names adam and im currently studying medicine in Australia ( yeah, studying medicine and another language, i must be crazy!)

Im not sure about everyone else, but i find ive been really slack with my japanese learning. I find periods where i do a lot of work and then slack off ( usually around exam time ) and then dont get back to study for a few months and then have to relearn everything again. I've been doing this see-saw for about a year and a bit now, and i want to do something else so try and keep me motivated and actually follow through with it.

Maybe i should sign up to do the JLPT, and maybe i will next year, i dont think i could do it now, even though ive been studying ( on and off ) for so long.

But I'm going to japan in january 2008, so i need all the speaking practice i can get. :) I've been lazy so far with my japanese study, due to my university course. But now that im heading to japan, i really need to work harder, and im willing to do so.

Anyway, heres hoping this is the catalyst that helps me to get fluent in at least 1 other language.
