昨日メルボルンに買い物をしました。少しかいました。あいにく、お茶ずけのパケトは見つけられませんでした。
メルボルンでお茶づけのパックを売っているお店を教えてください。

I went shopping yesterday in Melbourne. I did not buy much. Unfortunately I could not find any ochazuke packets. If there are any shops in Melbourne that sell ochazuke packets, please let me know!

新しい電子辞書がとどくのを楽しにしています。二三週前買いました。あいにく、当時品切れになりました。二三日中に届くと思います。

I'm looking forward to receiving my new electronic dictionary. I purchased it a few weeks ago, but it was out of stock. I think it should arrive in the next 2-3 days.

今週末にライチ味のラムネをかいました。
日本人の友達は、その味を飲んだことがなかったので、一本あげました。
~~日本人の友達にライチ味のラムネを一本あげますから、その味を飲みませんでした。~~
友達はメルボルンで買えて驚いています。ライチ味のラムネはとても美味しいです。

I bought lychee ramune on the weekend. I gave one bottle of the lychee ramune to a Japanese friend because she had never tried that flavour. She was surprised it could be bought in Melbourne. Lychee ramune is very delicious!

(I'm quite sure I have particles and conjugations wrong in the Japanese sentences above. Please correct my mistakes!)

Edited: I've included corrections based upon suggestions, but left the incorrect sentences crossed out so they can help me and hopefully others learn!

以上に記した記事を見れば構成力が高そうです。しかし、適切か不適切かは判りません。あわよくば私も日本語を上達したいんですが... Looking at what you wrote above, you seem to compose sentences well. I don't know if they are correct or not though. I also would like to improve my Japanese though...

Thank you nanao. It takes me a very long time to write in Japanese, although I find writing easier than speaking! I wish I could become more fluent, but this will happen with time and more practise!

Wow, your writing is very good! however, there are 2 incomprehensible sentences. "メルボルンにお茶ずけのパケトはお店を買いて教えてください。" should be "メルボルンでお茶づけのパックを売っているお店を教えてください." and, "日本人の友達にライチ味のラムネを一本あげますから、その味を飲みませんでした。" should be "日本人の友達は、その味を飲んだことがなかったので、一本あげました。" Let me know if you have any questions!

ありがとうございましたすずさん！ The second sentence's construction makes a lot more sense to me now! I'm not sure why, in the first correct sentence you wrote, "売っているお店" is in that particular order - is that how you would write "a shop that sells ..." in Japanese?

yes, 売っているお店 is how we write "a shop that sells ..."! For more example, a girl who speaks slowly = ゆっくり話す女の子, a park that has a fountain = 噴水のある公園, a boy who is wearing a T-shirt = Ｔシャツを着ている少年, a dog that is walking with his owner = 飼い主と散歩している犬. In these cases, the noun always comes at the end :D
