I watched the 1959 movie "Ben-hur" this
afternoon. I had fun watching it. It reminded me of
"Gladiator," with Russel Crowe as the lead because
of the settings and costumes.
"Ben-hur" is not your ordinary epic movie; it is a
masterpiece that deals with love, revenge,
redemption, christianity, etc. It even shows how
the protagonist, Judah Ben-hur, came to know
Christ who was still at his peak of evangelism until
He was crucified. The movie is well-balanced
because it shows every angle of transition the
characters went through.
Even though the movie lasted for almost 3 1/2
hours, my attention was not swayed away from it.
I love it. =)
And my favorite lines from the film are:
Ben-hur: If you weren't a bride, I would kiss you
goodbye.
Esther: If I weren't a bride, there would be no
goodbyes to be said.

I wish most of men here on earth -- if not all -- were
always true to their words. last night, my friend
had had her heart broken by her boyfriend and she
hadn't told me this until last night. I can relate to
her because I had my heart broken as well once
last year. It was the most painful friendship and I
hope it will be the last. =(
Why do people change easily?!
Why do men change easily?!
