Do you want to give your dog a japanese popular dog name?
Here is the top 10 list of popular dog names in Japan at a certain pet insurance company. They did this research based on 68,018 new clients of them.

Male dog:
1. Choco (means chocolate)
2. Maron (means marron or chestnut)
3. Sora (means sky)
4. Leo
5. Kotaroh
6. Leon
7. cookie
8. Jack
9. Shokora (means chocolat like gateau chocolat)
10. Riku (means land)

Female dog:
1. Momo (means peach)
2. Hana (means flower)
3. Sakura (means cherry blossoms)
4. Nana (means seven)
5. Choco (means chocolate)
6. Maron (means marron or chestnut)
7. Coco
8. Rin
9. Milk
10. Moca

Hmm, I guess people love to give a food name to their dogs. My dog is a female dog but her name is Ralph by the way ;)

My favourite japanese names are:
male dog - Kotaroh ♥
female dog - Milk (aww :P)

In Mexico paople name their dogs Pancho. Or Manchas.

well... Belen jeje I got a friend and we call him "Manchas" just like the dogs ! XD...

Japon have cool names for pets. Here in Mexico, we have some strange.... my dog`s name is "Afichi"... and I just dont know what it means =P... some other popular names are "pulgas", "pulgoso", "chato", "firulais"...

And a friend of mine, Scar, have a little male dog... but his name is Rose XP... jejejeje...

Pancho sounds very cute. Afichi sounds cool too. but firulais is... very long!! :O

My grandfather had a dog named Jack when he was growing up in Florida in the 1920's. It's nice to know the name is still popular!
