On goo.ne.jp, their users cast their votes for "the most memorable manga on Weeekly Shonen Jump."
(the nominees are limited to the manga which has been finished already.)

Do you know Shonen Jump? It's one of the most popular weekly manga magazine in Japan. Dragon Ball, Death Note, Hikaru no Go, Naruto, Hunter x Hunter are/were on the magazine.

Here are top 10! How many do you know?

(title/manga artist)
1. Dr. Slump
2. Cat's Eye
3. Hokuto no Ken
4. Dragon Ball
5. City Hunter
6. Kinniku Man
7. Captain Tsubasa
8. High School Kimen Gumi
9. Dokonjo-gaeru
10. Yu-Yu Hakusho

Ah, Dr. Slump was a very cute manga!
All of manga on the list were made into animations after they become popular on Shonen Jump.
For your information, the oldest one on the list above is Dokonjo-gaeru which started in 1970 and finished in 1976. It's surprising that the voice artist of the main character is the same as Goku's from Dragon Ball. Isn't it amazing that she has been a voice artist for such a long time?

I might sound dumb, but I am not aware about 'magna', can you tell me what is that?

Moreover the website goo.co.jp is not opening. :-)

Oops, I'm sorry, Manga is comic book. It's actually a japanese word. I've seen many english-speaking people are using this word, so I thought it's popular >.< As for the website, it was .ne.jp! I just edited my entry. Thanks! by the way, that URL is for their portal site.
