Language Exchange Community

Language Exchange

1. What's language exchange?

A language exchange is two or more people who speak different native languages practicing each other's languages. They can learn from each other, it's more fun and immersive than studying from books or audio CD/tapes. You might also find out about other cultures and make some friends along the way.

2. How does language exchange work?

a. You search for other xLingo members who speak the languages you want to learn. And you can contact them via our internal email system. Your personal email address is never revealed in order to protect you from spammers. You can make time to meet up in our Video/Audio enabled chatroom to practice your languages. Our system is also Skype enabled, you can display your Skype status in your profile page so other members can contact you that way.
b. Grow your language skills through our internal email system, chat in the live chatroom or even publish your thoughts with a blog. There are infinite ways to practice, it's only limited by your imagination.
c. Grow your network. New members are joining xLingo every day. As a member of xLingo you can have unlimited numbers of contacts, and keep them with your friends list.
